Vivien was born & raised near Taipei, Taiwan. She moved to Breckenridge, Colorado in 1996, where she met her future husband, Scott. They have been married since 1997 and have two children.
Vivien learned massage therapy through private instruction and has been associated with The Massage Store since 2006. In 2008, Vivien and Scott decided to venture into the industry even more by purchasing The Massage Store from the previous owner.
Vivien's attitude, humor and personality are a major draw for many of the clients that come into the store on a regular basis. She admits, though, that it is sometimes difficult overcoming stereotypes relating to her ethnicity and the massage profession. But with a personal clientele of doctors, nurses, chiropractors, attorneys, law enforcement officers and others, anyone that knows Vivien knows how dedicated she is to her profession, her character and her integrity.
Vivien constantly strives to enhance her knowledge and skills by taking continuing education classes. Recent classes include techniques on rotator cuff release, cranial sacral therapy, sciatica treatments and more.
Vivien says "Massage is not just a luxury, it is a necessity. I encourage people to make the time for massage, not just to take care of their body, but also their mind. Often people focus on other people's needs and not their own. Relaxation and stress reduction through massage lets you re-energize your mind, body and soul so you can maintain focus on other priorities in your life. I enjoy being a part of that process for my clients. No matter who they are, where they work or what they look like, the client that is on my table is my top priority."
Hi, I'm Lora, Professional Massage Therapist, Intuitive Healer and loving mother of 5 beautiful children. I was born in Missoula, Montana and raised in Delta County, Colorado.
I started my massage journey by attending the Utah College of Massage Therapy , graduating March 2004. I worked for myself for a few years in Delta. In June 2007 our family relocated to Nevada. In 2009 I became Nationally Certified through the NCBTMB and became licensed in the state of Nevada where I continued my massage career at a prestigious spa at a local Resort. I found I really loved and thrived in the spa environments! Here I learned several new modalities including Rain Massage, Body Wraps, and Sugar/Salt Scrubs.
I moved back to Colorado, and in 2019, I decided to further my education and be what I am meant to be, a Massage Therapist .I enrolled into Intellitec College's Massage Program. I learned some exciting new techniques, including Hot Stone Massage, new discoveries in Anatomy, Pathology and Kinesiology. I graduated February 2020 after which I became licensed in the state of Colorado to practice massage therapy. I enjoy what I do, helping people feel more relaxed and less stressed is my goal.
Hi there! My name is Samantha and I am a recent transplant to Grand Junction. I have lived in Colorado my whole life and love everything about this state. My journey to Massage Therapy starts with me attending the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs (UCCS) where I played collegiate basketball for four years. While playing, I suffered a few different sports-related injuries and had to attend months of physical therapy. Going through that experience, I knew that I wanted to help athletes/individuals recover and prevent injuries.
After attending UCCS, I intended on getting my Doctorate in Physical Therapy. However, life had different plans for me and I ended up enrolling with the Academy of Massage Essentials in Colorado Springs, where I graduated and received my license to practice Massage Therapy in 2019. I was taught several different modalities however, I am more inclined to perform Deep Tissue, Neuromuscular, and Swedish massage the most. I truly enjoy this profession and helping others feel their best!
Hey there! I'm Tiffani, a Licensed Massage Therapist since 2013. I am a Colorado native and have lived throughout our beautiful Rocky Mountains from the quiet town of Silt to the bustling city of Denver. I'm the mother of two beautiful children, I was blessed to be a stay at home mom with them until they entered school. I enjoy my free time searching for cool rocks and gems or hiking with my family in our surrounding mountains. If we aren't out enjoying nature we are relaxing at home.
I graduated high-school my junior year and while my friends were all attending senior year I had another calling. I have experienced the usual aches and pains associated with tension and stress build up since I was a teenager. I always knew I wanted to help people and to truly make a difference in the lives of others, and then the journey began. I graduated IntelliTec college in 2013, I was blessed to learn along with and from some fellow massage therapists who pushed me to challenge myself everyday and because of this I graduated at the top of my class and received the National Technical Honor Society Award..
One of the many joys in life that I have found is seeing the difference in a client from the beginning to end of each session. My top priority is to make sure you experience your ideal massage whether that be simply relaxation or the more intensive deep tissue pain relief massage. I believe everyBODY deserves a massage and I cannot wait to help you soothe away your aches and pains!
